It started at an early 7:30 a.m. with a cool breeze and excitement in the air as Bodies Personal Training kicked off their 1st annual Halloween Hustle 5K & 10K Family Fun Run. D.A. Designing and Turn The Page Marketing decided to create a team to compete in the 5K run. We collected our packets full of coupons, information for upcoming 5K runs and an awesome shirt!
Jumping around to stay warm we waited for the horn to start the race along with all the other 5K and 10K runners ranging from 13-65 years old. It was a great course with just the right amount of challenge. It was great to be a part of the running community promoting healthy lifestyles among and for family and friends.
The Halloween Hustle had a great turnout of participants and of course most importantly Halloween costumes. They arranged for costume contests, free pancakes after the race and medals for every finisher including medals for those that places highest in their age group.
